Since the Zohran administration took office, municipal politics in New York City has become exciting again. But real democracy doesn’t end at the ballot box. If we want to make NYC a city that truly works for working people, we all need to stay engaged and participate.

One important way to get involved is through the city’s Community Boards. With application deadlines coming up, we’re organizing an information session to walk you through what Community Boards do, how to apply, and how you can participate—even if you’re not serving on a board.

We’ll be joined by active Community Board members, including Assembly candidate Christian Celeste Tate, who serves as Vice President of his Community Board in Brooklyn.
