Please join us on 4 June 2024 from 17:00-18:45pm for a dialogue about community organising scholarship and practice in the twenty-first century. This interactive discussion about community organising in the UK and across the world is convened by organising practitioner scholars from Australia, Germany and the US who currently serve as co-editors of the new international journal, Community Organising. It will be a place to share and reflect on experiences with organising as scholars and practitioners. Members of the editorial team will introduce the new Community Organising Journal and explore the opportunities that the Journal might offer organizers and the higher education sector in the UK. The event is hosted by Amanda Tattersall, University of Sydney (Australia), Tobias Meier, Organizing Germany and Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, Alexandra Piñeros-Shields, Brandeis University (United States), and Margaret Post, Clark University (United States).
