TOWN HALL FOR CONSTITUENTS OF RICHARD NEAL
CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 1, MASSACHUSETTS

The CD-1 Progressive Coalition is hosting a town hall for constituents of MA CD1 represented by Chairman Richard Neal. The Coalition has invited Rep Neal to join us, but has not yet heard back from his office. Nonetheless, we recognize this as a pivotal time to be in touch with our government and those we have elected to represent us. If Chairman Neal cannot meet with us during this time, which has been designated specifically for reps to do in-district work, we will come together in spite of this to support each other and make sure he knows we have important issues to take up with him.

We will hold discussions on topics we want our Congressman to address, particularly given his new role as Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee. The crucial and time sensitive issues of Medicare for All, The Green New Deal, Trump's tax returns, and The Chairman’s accessibility to the district through town halls will be the focus of this gathering. Ample time will be allowed for audience questions and concerns which will be compiled and sent to Chairman Neal.

This event is hosted by the newly-formed CD-1 Progressive Coalition, whose mission is to engage Congressman Neal and ensure that he supports the needs and aspirations of his constituents.
