As the government shutdown continues, our working class communities are being devastated with life-altering cuts to SNAP and other benefits we need to survive. We know that when our leaders fail to represent us, we must stand up and fight for ourselves—and we are proud to stand alongside somebody that has always been there to fight for us.

On Thursday, November 13 Congresswoman Cori Bush will join the Westside Missionary Baptist Church Food Pantry to distribute food and essentials alongside volunteers from STL DSA and the broader community. Please RSVP if you are able to help with any of the following:

• Sorting and running food
• Assisting walk-ins
• Distributing hygiene products
• Managing drive-through participants
• Help with sorting and intake in days leading up to event
