Join CT DSA for our annual chapter convention! As a democratic organization run by our members, CT DSA hosts quarterly general meetings to discuss strategies and vote on proposals related to our work. Once a year, we hold a convention to discuss proposals and positions on greater issues facing the working class, as well as elect CT DSA chapter officers.

This event is hybrid and we will be providing a virtual option over Zoom. Please let us know if you're attending in person or over Zoom, if you need a ride, and if you need childcare on site in the RSVP!

Agenda for the 2025 CT DSA chapter convention:

At this year's chapter convention, we will...

• Vote on proposals for Labor work, chapter structure, and membership engagement
• Hear from candidates to the Steering Committee, Working Group Chairs, and delegates to the DSA national convention this summer (voting will happen via electronic ballot after the convention)
• Vote on a request for electoral endorsement
• Start the process of drafting a political program for CT DSA
• Amend our chapter bylaws

And of course, celebrate a year of socialist organizing across the Nutmeg State!
