Join CT DSA’s Sing in Solidarity practice! Bring a water bottle and a good spirit! Wanna learn how to sing "Solidarity Forever" better than we do after meetings? Want to belt out "Bella Ciao" at the next protest? Believe there can't be revolution without singing and dancing? Then CT DSA’s Sing in Solidarity is for you!

CT DSA Sing in Solidarity (SiS) is modeled from similar projects such as NYC DSA’s Sing In Solidarity. This is a choir for Connecticut leftists to continue a proud musical tradition of incorporating songs into protests. SiS makes sure people have known songs for strikes, pickets, protests, and sit-ins that speak to our history in the struggle. We welcome all people no matter their skill or talent or whether they sing or play instruments. There are no auditions.

Practices are in Hartford every other week alternating between Sundays 12-1:30PM (includes Potluck) and Tuesdays 6:30-7:30PM.

In addition to coming together to practice songs, we will also hold potlucks/socials, sing at protests, host guest teachers, hold themed practices such as learning the history of and singing protest songs from other countries, and sing at CT DSA general assembly meetings.

We hope you will join us! Sign up today, and bring a friend, coworker, or neighbor with you! Please feel welcome to reach out if you have any questions.
