Start your year off by connecting with the Carleton University Human Rights Society!

This mixer is especially for first-year students, but open to all who want to learn more about human rights on campus. Come meet fellow students, chat with professors from the Human Rights program, and find out how to get involved with CUHRS this year. This is the perfect place to start your degree if you are looking for mentorship, community, or just a friendly space to ask questions.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Drop in, say hello, and help us build a strong human rights community at Carleton!

The parking lot of the Nideyinàn building has accessible parking spots. There are 3 accessible entrances which lead to level 1. There are two tunnel entrances to level 1. Please note that the entrance from tunnel D (orange) is accessible, but the entrance from tunnel A (grey) leads to stairs. The building has 2 elevators. The first one (near main entrance) serves levels 1-4. The second one (near main-level tunnel entrance) serves levels 1-5. Both elevators feature tactile and braille buttons, an audible announcement system (voice and beeps), and a mirror. In order to avoid a steep, troublesome rise in the tunnel system as it goes around Nideyinàn (three stories high), students should use the Nideyinàn-Tory Building link to get to the top of the tunnel rise. Gender neutral washrooms outside Rooster's Coffeehouse have an accessible stall. Rooster's itself is an accessible space.
