This Mother’s Day, May 11, we’re teaming up with Civic Joy Fund for their weekly Disco Trash Pick-up at Manny's in the Mission. Honor the mothers and the mother figures in your life by tidying up with us! And if this is your first time at a Manny’s trash pickup, you’re in luck – it’s also a party.

In keeping with our vision of a lively, accessible San Francisco with more homes for everyone, D9 Neighbors sees picking up the trash together as a neighborly way to take care of the district we call home.

We’ll pick up trash for an hour and then gather for brunch at Manny’s afterwards. Dress in comfortable clothes and shoes. Civic Joy Fund will provide safety vests, gloves, trash bags and trash pickers. This is a kid-friendly event! Bring the whole family.
