We are renaming our social movement #DanceForInclusion moving for
In preparing for Sept 23 #DanceForInclusion flashmob at Universal City Walk, we are holding a series of open workshops, rehearsals, events, etc.

Open to all ages & abilities, deaf/hearing, we are kicking off #DanceForInclusion with a Beginning ASL (American Sign Language) workshop, followed by flash mob dance workshop, and social.  We encourage the deaf community to join us as well - the ASL lesson may be review, but come out and make new friends :)

We previously incorporated sign language into our flash mob, and we are incorporating it again. But lets learn the basics: the greetings, common daily life phrases, etc.

May 20 Schedule:
2:30-2:45pm Registration
2:45-4:15pm Beginner ASL Workshop by Jo-Ann Dean (SIGNmation)
4:15-4:30pm Break
4:30-5:30pm Sign Language Choreography & Flash Mob Dance WS (Deaf Dancer Shaheem)
5:30-6pm Social

Fee: Donation

(Amount of choice.  If you have a few dollars, great!  If you want to support our cause further, awesome!  If you are broke, it's ok, come out and be a good sport!)
