Hello friends of Danforth Kingston 4 all,

On April 1 from 2-4 PM, Jessica Spieker from Friends and Families of Safe Streets will be hosting a Danger walk along Danforth Ave (from Victoria Park Ave to Birchmount Rd)

https://www.facebook.com/ffsafestreets/

Her life was irrevocably changed when she was struck by a car. Hear her story plus the story of many other victims of dangerous drivers and the effects of poor road design.

This walk will highlight these dangers along Danforth Ave and emphasize the need for modifications towards it becoming a safer “Complete Street”. Join us on this family friendly walk where you will learn of the design flaws that contribute to:

• Excessive vehicle speeding

• Accidents that number in the thousands

• Dozens and dozens of injuries

• Many preventable deaths

Where / start: NW corner of Victoria Park Ave and Danforth Ave

When: 1:45 (gather) - 2:00 (start)

Finish - Danforth Ave and Birchmount Ave

Please put April 1 - 2-4 PM in your calendar and invite your friends. (RSVP here)
