How to Do Democracy Week in DSA continues on Tuesday, 05/19 with Day 3 where we'll be introducing the nuts and bolts of how our meetings work and why it matters.

Before you can make a motion, you need to be able to read a resolution. Before you can participate fully in a meeting, you need to know how it's supposed to run.

Day 3 covers the foundations that make everything else in Democracy Week possible:
→ Our rules and where they come from: bylaws, rules of order, standing rules & customs
→ How general body meetings work: roles, agenda-building, and notes & minutes
→ How to read a simple resolution: structure, intent, and what you're actually voting on

This session is for every member — whether you've been in DSA for a decade or a month. You can't fully participate in an organization you don't fully understand, and we want every member fully in.
