How to Do Democracy Week continues Wednesday, 05/20 with Day 4 — when we get into Robert's Rules of Order and learn how motions actually work.

Tucson DSA is committing to running our general body meetings under Robert's Rules, and this is the session where it all clicks into place. We'll walk through the full flow of a motion from start to vote, how amendments work, and the procedural tools every member needs to participate confidently.

Day 4 covers:

→ Flow of a motion: making, seconding, motivation, debate, vote — step by step

→ Amendments: primary & secondary, how to handle them in order

→ Special motions: Call the Question, Limit/Extend Debate, Postpone, Divide the Question

→ Procedural points: Point of Order, Point of Personal Privilege, Point of Information

→ Germaneness & decorum: keeping debate focused and comradely
