DAY 5 DAILY EMERGENCY PROTEST: Shut It Down! Hochul Must Remove Eric Adams & Stand Up to Trump

Start: Friday, February 21, 202510:30 AM

New Yorkers will gather at Governor Hochul's office at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 21st, to protest alongside elected officials. We will demand Governor Hochul remove Eric Adams from City Hall and Stand Up to Trump!

And we will be back every day this week and until Hochul acts!

This is a historic emergency: Trump has done a deal with corrupt Mayor Eric Adams. Adams will do anything to save himself from prison, including persecuting immigrant New Yorkers.

Adams and Trump have done a quid pro quo so corrupt that even the Trump-appointed prosecutor for the Southern District stepped down-- along with 7 other lawyers. Now, Deputy Mayors are also resigning.

It is like Nixon, but worse, because our institutions are failing. Only WE can protect ourselves and our fellow New Yorkers.

That is why organizations on Sunday joined together and several hundred New Yorkers marched. Now, we must keep the pressure on Governor Hochul to remove Adams and stand up to Trump. Therefore, we are protesting daily at 10am.

Reports say Hochul is in her midtown office discussing this topic. So we'll be there, too!

In addition to removing Eric Adams, Hochul needs to stand up to Trump to undo his destruction at the federal level. New York is on our own. She must act to counter the damage by passing New York For All to stop collaborating with ICE. She must pass the policies New Yorkers need that Trump is destroying, from labor rights and housing affordability to climate action and public safety.

Bring a sign (be creative! we loved "Dump Trump's Chump" on Sunday!). Bring something to make noise! But you don't need to bring a sign or a noisemaker, but definitely get ready to get loud as we rally at Hochul's office to Tell her to Remove Eric Adams and Stop Trump!

P.S. This event is in rapid formation, so many groups are joining in right now including DRUM Beats, Food & Water Watch, Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, Make the Road Action, Metropolitan Council on Housing, New York City DSA, New York Progressive Action Network, New York Immigration Coalition, Sunrise Movement and many others.
