In keeping with our commitment to this mission, the Beloved Community Center is proud to participate for the second time in the National Day of Racial Healing, an annual observance inspired by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF). This day, which occurs the Tuesday following Martin Luther King Jr. Day provides a time for contemplation on our shared values and an opportunity to inspire collective action toward healing from the effects of racism. As the WKKF shares, "The National Day of Racial Healing is a time to reflect and create a blueprint for #HowWeHeal, uniting all people to build common ground for a more just and equitable world."
