Georgia Power and the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) is trying to raise our bills even more - and poison our water, land, and air while they’re at it.

On Friday December 19, the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) - the elected body that regulates utility companies like Georgia Power - will have their FINAL VOTE on Georgia Power’s proposal to add almost 10 gigawatts (GW) of dirty electricity production to profit from and expand the growth of data centers in our communities. That’s almost 10 cities of Atlanta worth of electricity all for big tech. The catch is that this is to feed the demand for poisonous AI data centers, but we will be footing the bill”

They know that this is unpopular, so they’re trying to ram approval of this plan through this lame duck commission before the new commissioners are sworn in in January”

We can stop this by showing up at the FINAL GEORGIA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION HEARING & VOTE on Friday, December 19 at 8:30 AM to speak out and let GA Power and the PSC that WE SAY NO to their disastrous plan for dirty energy for dirty data centers that will raise our bills and poison our communities!
