This will be a prayerful and peaceful protest. If you have signs please bring them. We sometimes have extra and we'd be delighted to share should you not have one.

We will be doing 2, 1 hour long protests at both Chase Bank in Freeland, and at Wells Fargo also in Freeland.

We will start at Chase bank at 11:00am, then walk up to Wells Fargo at 12:00pm. Wear layers, carpool, bike, or bus if you can!

Our goal is to encourage people to move their money out of banks that directly support the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Wells Fargo and Chase bank are only 2 of the 17 banks that are funding the DAPL.

Both Chase and Wells Fargo will be informed about what we're doing before each protest begins. We're looking to maintain positive, thoughtful and strong ties within our community while showing solidarity with Standing Rock (and also locally, as there are things happening here on Whidbey).u action is about!
