A political education event by the Twin Cities Democratic Socialists of America (TCDSA) Mass Work Caucus, and the TCDSA Environmental Justice Branch. Its focus is to provide a look at post-growth thinking, and to encourage dialogue about what ecological future socialists, decolonial thinkers, and liberal progressives alike should strive for in coalition with one another. With a focus on engaging in dialogue about degrowth as it relates to EJ fights in so-called Minnesota, we will collaborate in order to imagine a future we can carry across all our work and communities.

Bring an open mind ready to engage and co-learn, a heart ready to be in community, and something you might like to (learn to) mend! After the presentation and conversation, we will move into some informal social time where attendees can continue discussing the material, and work on mending projects to put into practice some practical skills we might use to reduce material consumption. No mending experience necessary!
