Start: Sunday, October 12, 2025•06:30 PM
Location:Cottonwood Room at New City Center•3104 16th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407 US
This political education event by the Mass Work Caucus of the Twin Cities Democratic Socialists of America (TCDSA) and the TCDSA Environmental Justice Branch focuses on providing a look at degrowth and postgrowth thinking, paying special attention to the ways in which it calls for political movements to approach our local struggles. This event aims to encourage dialogue about what decolonial ecological future we should work in coalition towards. Come to collaboratively imagine a future we can carry across all our work and communities.
Bring an open mind ready to engage and co-learn, a heart ready to be in community, and something you might like to (learn to) mend! After the presentation and conversation, there will be social time where attendees can continue discussing the material, their roles in community / local struggles, and get to work on personal mending projects to put into practice some practical degrowth skills. No mending experience necessary to attend!
