The annual community and trade union festival and procession to commemorate the Silk Mill Lockout of 1833/34 - a formative moment in the history of the labour movement. This year's festival will take place on the 20th June, beginning with a march/procession from the Market Place to Cathedral Green, where speeches, live music, and stalls will be on all afternoon.
