We're taking part in Friends of the Earth's second SunRise for Climate event, to connect with nature and our community. Let's get together to welcome the sun on Saturday September 21st, the day after the Global Strike for Climate, to recoup and reflect.

Meeting Point: The Cut, Lough Lene

(Note that Collinstown Village is marked on the map - we are meeting at The Cut, Lough Lene - go out the Lake Road from Collinstown and turn left at the sign for Lough Lene)

Meeting Time: 7am

Things to bring: flask of tea or coffee and a wet suit or swimsuit if you are getting into the water.

Please note that no lifeguards will be at the event and all swimmers swim at their own risk.
