Pull up to Dissenters Membership Onboarding Pilot, a four-part paid virtual training designed to train up Dissenters leaders in foundational concepts and skills you need to participate actively in our movement. It will orient members to Dissenters’ organizing model as well as train participants in fundamental organizing & leadership skills, and an understanding of militarism and anti-imperialism.

• Wednesday - April 16, 6:00 - 8:30 PM ET - Anti-Imperialism and Theory of Change
• Wednesday - April 23, 6:00 - 9:00 PM ET - Organizing Fundementals
• Wednesday - April 30, 6:00 - 9:00 PM ET - Building Healthy Culture & Leadership in Dissenters
• One (1) follow up call (60-90 min)

This is a paid program. Members will be compensated $250 per person, or $50 per session. To participate, you must be able to complete the full program. Up to one session may be missed, and you must make up the session by watching the recording.

Why are we running a pilot? Dissenters is redesigning our membership model and onboarding process. This Membership Onboarding pilot is a first pass at the new onboarding process, which will consist of three critical components:

• A “Core Program” that includes four virtual workshops

• A commitment pledge

• A 1-1 organizing conversation with staff or member-leaders

We are seeking up to 20 Dissenters to sign up for the pilot, fully participate in the program, and give us feedback on the program.

Eligibility: This program is designed for people are who currently a member of a Dissenters chapter or crew or national team. We will accept some non-members on a case by case basis. If you are not a current member, please fill out the application form and indicate on the form that you are not a member.
