Who: Restaurant workers with ROC MN and CTUL, business allies, and MPLS foodie influencers will come together to call for ICE out of our restaurants

What: Join us as we officially launch 86 ICE!, a Twin Cities metro-wide campaign in which we are calling for ICE out of restaurants. In the hospitality industry, “eighty six” means that something is no longer available, or that someone is kicked out of a bar or restaurant. 86ICE is a worker-led campaign to protect restaurant workers from unconstitutional federal immigration enforcement actions. Let’s 86 ICE now across Minnesota!

Where: Downtown Minneapolis - precise location to be announced the morning of the action. RSVP here to be updated on the location.

When: Friday, February 13th at 10:00 am CST - the day before Valentine’s Day, the year’s biggest day for fine-dining and restaurant reservations.

Why: Restaurant and hospitality holds so much power in this moment. Imagine a Twin Cities where folks can only eat in community, with their family, neighbors, and friends. Food is community, and ICE is not welcome. Let’s 86 ICE for good!
