Help Christina collect vital canvassing data in Nutley for the election on 7th May

Morning Session: 10am briefing, out 10.30 - 1pm

Afternoon Session: 1.30pm briefing,  out 2pm 4.30pm

You don't have to commit to both sessions - call me 07964 181534 to say which session you can make.

There will be an initial briefing indoors, with refreshments provided, followed by door-knocking outside so please dress appropriately for the weather.

You don't have to be experienced in canvassing as we pair up novices with old hands who will do the talking until you want to. The second person listens, in case the speaker forgets something, and fills in the data sheet carefully.

We go out with a canvassing sheet and a script to follow when speaking to residents.

We use a simple code to record responses. The aim is to:

·     find out who will not vote Green - we don't go back!

·     find out who might vote Green - have a chat and follow up later

·     find out who will vote Green - get their phone number & see if they can help in some way

We return our sheets so the data collected can be entered onto our database so we know who needs to be reminded to vote.

These door knocking days are a chance to share ideas and knowledge with other members. Whether you are a brand new or experienced campaigner these events are great for connecting with others and supporting the Green Party.
