Down with Krome - Defend Due Process
Start: Saturday, April 19, 2025• 1:00 PM
End: Saturday, April 19, 2025• 2:30 PM
Location:Glades Rd x I-95•1400 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 US

We demand the United States government respect the due process that is our right, and we demand the humane treatment of detainees at Krome Detention Facility, who are being held without due process in horrific conditions.
We demand the United States government respect the capacity limits in the detention center, allow detainees access to legal counsel, and allow the press and local government officials access to the facility.
Practical Details
- Protest will be near but not at FAU, near the Whole Foods corner of the I-95 x Glades intersection
- Bring water, a hat, sun-screen, and an additional sign
- Stay on the sidewalk and spread out so we don't block pedestrian traffic
Why Adjacent to FAU?
Florida Atlantic University (FAU) has recently partnered with ICE for on-campus immigration enforcement. Given the administration's willingness to seize people off the street and argument that someone's "expected beliefs" (screenshot) are grounds for detention without due process, we are both alarmed and enraged that FAU is so eager to shred the civil liberties of members of our community.

About the Organizers
We are a loose group of locals who have been protesting the techno-fascist takeover of our country at the local Tesla dealerships / service stations who felt called to do more to protect our collective civil liberties.
