In the face of an increasingly dangerous Trump administration and mainstream, powerful Democrats' inability to fight back, DSA members across the US are meeting the moment and changing our political conditions for the better.

Here in the Hudson Valley, MHVDSA is organizing to put people over profit. We are fighting to build tens of thousands of permanently affordable, sustainable, union-built homes through our House the Future campaign, we are fighting to replace Central Hudson with the publicly-owned, democratically controlled Hudson Valley Power Authority, we are standing with labor and with Palestine, we are defending our immigrant neighbors from ICE and other federal immigration enforcement, and we are building community through mutual aid, political education, and social events. As we move into 2026, we know we can do even more, and we can win real victories against corporate interests and the emboldened far-right.
