DSA Community Night 7/16 - Hazards, Hobbies, & Hot Dogs

Join us at the Coop OKC's Kitchen/Office space at 301 NW 13th St on Thursday 7/16 at 6 pm for a short educational talk on caring for yourself and others in the face of Oklahoma's hazardous heat and storms as well as our regularly scheduled hobby hangout. Bring a craft, hobby, ongoing projects or work of any kind, or an idea for a mutual aid project you want to workshop! We will be serving hot dogs and veggie dogs along with some standard toppings - other toppings, sides, desserts, and beverages are potluck. DSA members, friends of DSA, and non-DSA members are all welcome.

Please bring donations of the following if you can:

- Water bottles or electrolyte beverages (to be donated to organizations such as Red Dirt Collective who are handing out water to our unhoused neighbors on dangerously hot days)

- Cut resistant work gloves/gardening gloves to contribute to ongoing natural disaster relief preparedness efforts. The gloves will be used for clean up efforts of debris and trash after destructive storms or other weather events.
