Join us throughout the day in DC for an interactive action, showcasing resistance art. Envisioning together the world we want to live in!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 16:

• Starting the Day: 8-10am at Columbus Circle

• Ending the Day: 4-7pm on the Mall (near 3rd St & Jefferson Dr SW)

Let's send a message to the establishment: the people call for not another bomb and instead to invest in our communities! In order to achieve a lasting ceasefire in Gaza, the U.S. must stop arming Israel’s brutal war and occupation on Palestine by enacting an immediate arms embargo. There are so many ways the funds that go to weapons could be spent to uplift communities right here in DC!

What will this action be?

Inspired by Palestinians, creating art out of weapon remnants and anti- Vietnam War protesters, placing flowers in soldiers' rifles, we will be transforming an artistic "bomb" into visions of the the world we want to live in.

The DC action is being organized by various organizers and DC community based organizations!
