Please join us for our September General Membership Meeting (GM)! These meetings are fundamental Chapter democracy since we'll discuss & debate important items that shape our organizing.

**NEW** - NEW MEMBER HOUR (check in: 9:45a, runs: 10-11a)

We're piloting a New Member Hour prior to our GM from 10a-11a for members who have just joined or haven't been engaged recently and want to get involved again. During this time we will:

• Provide an OpenSlides orientation to help you participate in the meeting using our voting/debate tech
• Get a short rundown of the work going on in the Chapter and how to get involved as a new member
• Have some time to socialize before the GM starts

• Report-backs from National Convention from our delegates
• Voting on a new International Solidarity Committee to house ongoing internationalist coalition work
• Big updates on our Socialist Electoral Strategy and RCV Campaigns

Additionally, if you ordered any merch as part of our summer fundraisers including our Sublime Socialists t-shirts it will be available for pickup at the meeting.

Your in-person attendance is encouraged, but if you can only join us remotely the Zoom link will appear upon RSVP.

Location Information

For those who haven't attended a meeting at the IAM Hall before, enter on Broadway (next to The Potholder) and head all the way back until you get to the main meeting room.

There is mostly 2 hour metered street parking available with some unmetered a few blocks north of Broadway. The municipal parking lot for the Billie Jean King Library is just across the street. The library validates parking if you have a free LBPL library card ($2 for the first 3 hours).
