After a few long months of planning and deliberation, we will be hosting a movie night on "Farha." Our movie night will be at Syracuse Peace Center from 5 pm-8 pm.

Please join us for a night of fun, conversation, and reflection as we study the film based on the true story of a Palestinian girl named "Farha" who survived the Nakba of 1948 when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were expelled from their homeland by Zionist militias (Elia).

The movie won the praise of diaspora Palestinians and their allies and continues to be watched all across the world despite the virulent attacks against the movie by the Israeli state and the U.S. Empire.

We hope to use this movie night to establish a groundwork for our foray into more serious Palestinian solidarity organizing and more frequent political education through book clubs and movie nights that engage our members and the community.
