This is an event for DSA members to gather and discuss recent developments within our Socialists In Office Committee and legislation regarding the NYCHA Preservation Trust.

Our discussion will aim to cover:

• Political context for the variety of new policies and programs (the Trust, the Blueprint, RAD, PACT, and so on) on the table for the New York City Housing Authority;
• The nature of the NYCHA Preservation Trust policy;
• Debate about the policy, within DSA, among NYCHA tenant orgs, and among our SiOs;
• Deliberations and decisions on NYC-DSA's State Socialists In Office and Citywide Leadership Committees;
• Paths forward for policy and organizing to protect and expand public housing in our city.

We will prioritize time for breakout rooms and discussion, please bring your questions.
