We have received our first endorsement application of the 2025 election season from Zoelle Lane. Zoelle is a member of DSA Fort Collins and is running in a contested race for the open seat in Fort Collins City Council District 5 (covering much of the area stretching from CSU's campus to Horsetooth Reservoir). This Friday at 5:30pm, we will be hosting a hybrid candidate forum with Zoelle in CSU's Lory Student Center where members will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the campaign. At the upcoming General Meeting on July 5th, a resolution to endorse Zoelle's campaign will be debated and then the question of whether to endorse will be put to an online vote.
