The shareholders and board members of Tesla sent Musk an extremely clear message last year that they do not want their CEO meddling in American politics. But even after the extraordinary backlash against DOGE, the fallout with DJT, and the rebuke of Tesla's largest investors, Elon continues to dump money into politics in an effort to help them maintain control of Congress through the 2026 midterms and continue their illegal agenda of demolishing constitutional checks and balances.

• Super PAC Contributions: At the end of 2025, Musk donated $5 million each to the Congressional Leadership Fund and the Senate Leadership Fund, which are major super PACs aimed at electing Republicans to the House and Senate. This marked his second round of $10 million donations to both groups during this election cycle.
• Individual Candidate Support: In January 2026, Musk contributed $10 million to a super PAC, "Fight for Kentucky," which supports Republican candidate Nate Morris in the primary race to succeed Senator Mitch McConnell.
• Personal Super PAC: He continues to fund his own super PAC, America PAC, which he has used to advocate for his political priorities.

That's a grand total of $20 million in donations after he cost the American taxpayer approximately $21.7 billion dollars with his DOGE shenanigans. The sheer arrogance of this is breathtaking, but we already know that Elon thinks he's smarter than everyone else.

Tesla shareholders just approved a trillion dollar package for Elon. But whether he gets it is up to all of us.
