This Earth Day, join us in engaging conversations between our panelists surrounding the impacts of rising temperatures faced by communities in British Columbia. The climate crisis underscores the intersection between climate justice and labour justice. To build resilience in the face of a climate crisis, we must deepen our understanding of climate impacts on vulnerable communities.
Before summer is in full swing, and scorching temperatures become the norm, it is crucial to ensure that no one is left behind and everyone has access to cooling. The quest to stay cool is essential for everyone to protect their wellbeing and health.
The goal of this panel is to strengthen community driven resilience and connect advocates demanding adequate and fair protections for all when faced with extreme heat.
Join us on April 22, 2024 at noon!
