Communities for a Better Environment (CBE) is a leading environmental health and justice organization that builds people’s power in communities affected by industrial pollution. We empower communities by providing organizing skills, as well as legal, technical and scientific resources that assist neighborhoods in taking control of decisions that affect their health and quality of life.

East Oakland tours are an educational tool, primarily for community members, partners and allies, to learn more about major polluters in Deep East Oakland and ending in a place of resilience. Hear the stories of personal impacts from community members living near these facilities.
