This event is intended to share a full breakdown of eco-action projects can be implemented in Florida at various price points, how to engage in event planning, how to engage in event marketing, recruiting volunteers, and allows attendees a chance to apply for funding through the VoLo Foundation Eco-Action Fund with IDEAS For Us.
Non-profits, schools, and charity groups can apply for small stipends of funding to carryout eco-action projects throughout Florida including: waterway clean-ups, community garden builds, native landscaping projects, tree plantings, renewable energy events, and more!
This session will be led by Caroline Chomanics, Chief Operations Officer of IDEAS For Us, and Kristin Anderson, Branch Manager and Lead Eco-Action Organizer of IDEAS For Us.
