Join the Center for Common Ground and Workers Circle for our Effective Advocate series. This month, we will examine the executive branch's lawless overreach of power and how we can insist on urging our members of Congress to take action. Join us for an overview of what the Trump Administration is doing, who is responsible for stopping the overreach, and how we—the people—can take action against what is happening.
In this training, you'll gain a deeper understanding of:
- The Trump Administration's lawless actions and their impact on our country
- The role of Congress in checking the executive branch's power
- Effective strategies for making impactful phone calls to Congressional offices
During the training, you will have a chance to make actual phone calls to your representatives' offices and debrief the experience with fellow advocates.
