Welcome to the People's Hearings!

Hosted by Texas State Rep. Vince Perez in El Paso, the Texas Legislative Progressive Caucus is bringing the State Legislature directly to the working families of Texas this summer. Your elected officials in the Texas House and Senate will hold public hearings across the state, hear the stories of struggling Texans, and expose the barriers that keep our families from thriving.

Our “People’s Hearings" will deliver working Texans a real voice in their state legislature.

What is TLPC? The Texas Legislative Progressive Caucus (TLPC) is working to lower the cost of living for all working Texans, regardless of race, heritage, or creed. As elected members of the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate, we introduce and advocate for forward-thinking legislation that puts working families first in the Texas Legislature. TLPC provides resources and support to its members and partners with grassroots communities across Texas.
