Win or lose, many chapters have meaningfully contested candidate or ballot initiative campaigns by mobilizing members for field and fundraising for their endorsed campaigns. As recently as last year, several chapters elected their first socialist in office! This is a crucial, first step in party building and developing an electoral program for a chapter. However, chapters often struggle to not only repeat these successes, but build upon them through a sustainable electoral program.

This workshop will focus on not only running successful campaigns, but guiding members through all the things their electoral programs must master in between campaigns to build a successful, sustainable electoral program.

Two NEC Steering Committee members will be leading the workshop: Jeremy, former NYC DSA co-chair and Chanpreet, current Seattle DSA EWG co-chair.

We'll be kicking off at 2:00 PM from Room W176-A.
