You’re invited to EBC’s 2026 legislative briefing and movement analysis.
In a moment when democracy and justice feel increasingly fragile, when we see continued investment in criminalization and incarceration at the expense of basic human dignity, you, as an EBC supporter, are choosing to believe that another world is possible – and that we can build it together.
It takes tremendous courage to hold onto hope, and on February 18th, EBC invites you to join us in pursuing this vision.
This year, EBC will advance policies focused on ending shackling for medically vulnerable incarcerated people, bolstering prevention strategies against sexual violence inside, and strengthening the Racial Justice Act.
We will also be sharing a preview of our new program, the Emergent Strategy Lab (ESL). The ESL positions incarcerated researchers to lead the strategy behind movement research – both dreaming and taking action towards a vision for our collective advocacy, all driven by people inside.
You will hear from program leadership, including Policy Director Eric Henderson and Program Director James King, as well as Ayah Wilson, Acting Executive Director and the new Managing Director.
RSVP today to secure your spot. See you soon!
