Join Emerge and Marxist Unity Group on Thursday, June 25th for the fourth meeting of our national Letter Writing Campaign to political prisoners. In this segment, we will learn about Rev. Joy Powell, an activist framed for her advocacy against police brutality. Together, we commit to furthering the work and wellbeing of our incarcerated comrades as we fight for our collective liberation and a future free of prisons. This will be a space where we can learn and write to political prisoners collectively.

The event is hybrid, with in person meetups in Austin and NYC. If you attend virtually, make sure to bring a black or blue pen and plain white printer paper.
