We will start with a discussion on how to read and lower your high summer energy bill, programs to help you pay your utility bill, and how buildings use/lose energy. Plus, all attendees will receive a free energy efficiency toolkit including a power strip with surge protection and energy-protecting foam outlet covers to use what they learn to lower their home bills .

Part two of the event will be about learning the first-aid skills for this summer’s expected high temperatures and air pollution, building an individual vs collective health action plan, and our EMT’s graduate school work on environmental justice from a healthcare provider’s point of view ✊.
