Enough is enough!

Fracked gas pipelines, compressor stations, gas fired power plants, massive new electric transmission lines, data centers – it seems like we’re being invaded by an onslaught of fossil fuel infrastructure that we DON’T WANT and DON’T NEED.

The New River Valley is saying Enough Is Enough - and that means NO to EQT and NextEra Energy’s proposed MVP Boost Swann Compressor Station, and NO to NextEra’s merger with Dominion Energy!

NextEra is the second largest joint venture partner in MVP, MVP Southgate, and MVP Boost, and we’ve seen the catastrophic impacts on water quality and the lives of friends and neighbors in our communities since NextEra forced the Mountain Valley Pipeline on our region. Now they want to become the largest monopoly electric utility in the country – a move that would bring higher electric bills and an intensified corporate capture of the government and so-called regulators.

We’re getting together for a **pop up art build** this Thursday evening at 6:00PM at the Newport Community Center in Newport, VA to declare ENOUGH IS ENOUGH to EQT and NextEra! Join us for banner painting and screen printing, and bring a potluck dish to share! See you then!
