The cars that ICE uses to abduct immigrants? They're rented from Enterprise. 🚨🚗
While ICE agents drive around in unmarked vans kidnapping our neighbors and terrorizing our communities, Enterprise profits off violence. That's why we're calling on Enterprise to drop ICE! This is one tangible way we can weaken ICE's corporate support and disrupt their operational infrastructure.
Mark your calendar for August 15 to demand Enterprise stop renting cars to ICE! Then, take the next step by completing one or more of the actions below.
Take 1 minute to send a letter to Enterprise CEO Chrissy Taylor and demand she end Enterprise complicity with ICE!
2. CALL Enterprise: tell them to stand with the people, not with ICE at (314) 512 5000.
3. MAKE A RESERVATION: with the 'pay later' option and cancel 2-3 days later. In the "reason for canceling" tell them to end their collaboration with ICE. This will disrupt their sales and bookings.
If ICE doesn’t have cars to drive, they can’t keep taking our neighbors. By targeting Enterprise and demanding they stop leasing vehicles to ICE, we chip away at ICE's ability to operate.
Earlier this year in the Twin Cities, federal agents used Enterprise vehicles to abduct immigrants and activists alike. Enterprise has rented over a thousand vehicles to ICE agents in Minnesota and even more nationwide. They are directly enabling agents to kidnap our neighbors and terrorize our communities. We estimate Enterprise currently leases more than half of the vehicles supplied to ICE agents. Enterprise’s parent company, Enterprise Holdings, holds over 1,100 contracts with various federal agencies.
By renting cars to ICE, Enterprise is violating its own human rights policy and enabling ICE to traffic immigrants into detention centers where they are subject to forced labor, medical neglect, inhumane treatment, sexual abuse, and in some cases, death. We call on Enterprise to abide by their values and refuse to rent cars to ICE.
