On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, NAZCCA is joining Sierra Club (Grand Canyon Chapter) and other environmentally conscious groups descending on the Arizona State Capitol for the annual Environmental Day at the Capitol. Meet with your legislators, hear from great speakers, and connect with others who are doing advocacy work both inside and outside the Arizona Legislature. This year’s theme, “People Power for the Planet,” isn't just a slogan—it’s a direct challenge to the status quo in a year where our legislative choices will define Arizona’s climate future. From the ongoing water crisis to the record-shattering heatwaves of last summer, our state is at a breaking point. We know the solutions: clean energy, environmental justice for our frontline communities, and robust water protections. But these solutions won't happen if we don't look our legislators in the eye and remind them who they actually serve. |

No Experience? No Problem.Whether you’re a seasoned lobbyist or a first-time advocate, you belong here. The Sierra Club are providing Lobby Day Trainings with the "Bills, Bills, Bills" workshops leading up to the event to ensure you feel confident and prepared. See below. If you miss the technical lobby training, the Sierra Club usually sends out a recording of the "Lobbying 101" basics to everyone who registers for the main Feb 11 event. |
