April 12th, 7pm | Environmental Racism in DC Reading Group

Our reading group on environmental racism in DC will discuss the cluster of power plants in the Brandywine community of Prince George’s County. Together we will talk through how they got there, how their pollution disproportionately impacts the Black residents in the surrounding neighborhoods, and what this has to do with Pepco and our fight for energy democracy in the District.
