Hello All! Though the summer may be waning and coming to an end, LIDSA Electoral WG's campaign to elect Kevin Shea for Riverhead Town Council is far from over! Election Day is ~60 days away, and there is plenty to be done. It's all hands on deck for the fall season, an election season that could prove historic in New York. Kevin is a retired NYC firefighter, founder of several environmental and community-focused organizations, and a tireless advocate for climate justice, sustainability, and community solidarity. LIDSA is committed to campaigning for Kevin because of our mutual desire to help the working-class communities of Riverhead, whose labor supports so much of Eastern Long Island's economy.
