The Electoral Working Group will be holding an ENDORSEMENT FORUM OCTOBER 15 to hear, discuss, and deliberate on DSA endorsing candidates for NY State Legislature! This is where laws are passed that govern our state and decide on the allocation of government resources.

Coming off a banner year for our electoral project where we were able to redefine our political terrain by electing a socialist as the Democratic nominee for mayor of New York City, 2026 holds some truly fantastic possibilities to grow our movement by electing socialists to send to Albany to fight to enact Mamdani's affordability agenda and to pass laws that help organize the working class. Join us by RSVPing as we take the next step!

The address for the forum will be sent out 24 hours before the event and will be accessible via Zoom. The forum will end with a vote on the candidates under consideration, with voting open to all who attend that meeting in-person or remotely, however you must RSVP to receive a ballot.  

Electoral Working Group members are only eligible to vote if they have been a member of NYC-DSA since 7/1/25 and have taken at least one electoral action in that last two years (such events include participating in a canvass, phonebanking, or EWG meeting).
