In preparation for the coming elections next May, our Extraordinary General Meeting will be an opportunity to refresh our local committee, think about how we organise ourselves for the 2027 elections, and hear from an interesting local speaker.

The day will run as follows:

• 12 noon–1.15pm — EGM, including elections and co-options to the committee and ward organising roles

• 1.15pm — event opens to the public, with a bring-and-share lunch

• 2.15pm — introductory talks from the Party Coordinator and Chair

• 2.30pm — main talk from Nick Viney of Rewilding Coombeshead and the Rewilding Academy

• 3.30–4pm — close

The EGM will include opportunities to get involved in the way West Devon Greens are organised. We're particularly looking for people who might be able to take on manageable roles, either individually or as part of a shared job.
