Join community leaders, grassroots organizations, and elected officials for a town hall about the Chicago Fair Elections Ordinance!

The Fair Elections Ordinance is a small-dollar matching program that aims to increase participation in local elections, empower people from all walks of life to run for elected office, and help make it possible for candidates to win without putting the demands of the wealthy over the needs of working people.

Chicago is currently the largest US city without publicly-financed elections. This town hall is an opportunity to learn about the ordinance and discuss what Fair Elections would mean for you and your community.

The grassroots candidates we elect at the city level today may be the people we elect to national office in the future. Be part of un-rigging the system!

Doors open at 11:30. The program begins at 12:00 p.m. and will run for 90 minutes.
