You’re invited to a Fairfield Residents’ Meeting
Join Cllr Ria Patel and Cllr Esther Sutton, your Green Party councillors for Fairfield, alongside Green Party candidate Paul Ainscough, for an open meeting for everyone who lives in our area.
Many Croydon households are struggling. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Over the past five years, Council tax has soared by 33%, food price rises consistently outstrip inflation, and energy bills have surged.
The impact goes far beyond what we’re paying. Rising costs are deepening the mental health crisis, housing crisis, putting local small businesses at risk, and pushing more Fairfield residents into fuel poverty. At the same time, the council has made it harder for people to get help — including by closing Access Croydon — when support should be easier than ever to reach.
We can do better than this. And we can create change together.
That’s why we’re inviting you to come along and talk about what really matters for Fairfield: our town centre.
We’ll share the work we’ve been doing to stand up for Fairfield residents in Croydon, but more importantly, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to tell us what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to change.
By listening to residents and working together, we can set clear priorities and build a town centre and community we’re proud to call home.
This meeting is open to all Fairfield residents. You don’t need to be a Green Party member - just someone who cares about our area.
Hope to see you there!
